Terrific. It's consistently impressed me so far in the maybe six or seven hours I've played. There's so much to do and find... I really never thought there would be a GREAT game based on a comic, but that's exactly what this is.

I really wish this would have released a bit further away from the Sept/Oct rush. I'm trying to limit the frivolous video game purchasing.

I know what you mean, but this is actually a pretty ideal time for it to be released, if you ask me. It's not quite in the thick of things and it's got some breathing room until the other big releases start hitting in September.

so any thought on getting it on ps3 versus xbox 360? clearly you picked ps3 - anything specifically tipping the scales?

So far as I know, the versions are identical. But the PS3 version exclusively has the Joker levels, and you also get the Batcave-esque personal space in PlayStation Home. That pushed it over for the 360 version for me (which I normally get the 360 version of every multiplatform game).

Yeah I figured you picked it up for the joker levels, didn't know about the home space. Wonder if companies will start using home more for bonuses great idea. On the other front I think games should start including codes for avatar clothing, so people that buy new games get bonuses like shirts with the games logos.

It would be an interesting way to incentivize people to buy new copies of games (similar to what BioWare is doing with Dragon Age and EA did with Madden). But I'm not sure the average player cares enough about customizing their avatar or Home person for that to be a difference maker.
